Sitting and having coffee with Janine as she got ready for her Boudoir session was awesome. This woman is smart, funny and she can tell a great story. We talked about why she decided to treat herself to a Boudoir. I learned about her life and we swapped ridiculous stories about life. It was the perfect morning!
Then when her hair and makeup were finished, she was an absolute dream to photograph. She exuded confidence and as her session progressed, I watched that grow! Boudoir isn’t about the clothes you are, or are not wearing. It is all about giving yourself permission to feel free to do something that makes you feel empowered and happy in your own skin.  The best part of Janine’s session for me might have been when I met with her after her session to deliver her album full of her favourite images. We met at Chapters and sat for ages over coffee and chatted. I meet the most incredible people through my work, and I am always so happy when it brings a new friend into my life. Janine, thank you for being one of those new friends!
