A Beautiful Boudoir Session at ALT Hotel, St. John’s, NL
Some sessions are the epitome of what a beautiful boudoir session should be. Caitlyn’s is one such session.
As ALT Hotel in St. John’s was constructed, we would drive through downtown and watch its progress. I knew that I was going to want to stay there. But, after touring the place with Meghan looking for prospective boudoir session locations, I fell in love. Floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows looking over St. John’s Harbour? Yes, PLEASE!
Caitlyn is a friend of Meghan’s so she already had a great idea of the natural makeup that would suit her flawless, milky skin. It was the perfect look for her. The process of giving clients time to warm up and get comfortable before the cameras come out is incredibly important. That’s why hair and makeup are included with all boudoir session fees. Feeling comfortable during your session means your expressions look more relaxed, and you feel empowered as you pay in front of the camera. Expressions are more confident and your body will move differently. You won’t just look amazing – you will feel it too!
When preparing for her boudoir session, Caitlyn did an incredible job of selecting a variety of looks that ranged from sexy lingerie, right to casual and cozy. This comfy sweater was just the right fit to be super flattering, but it was also a stunning colour on her!
This last photo is everything I imagined when I decided on this location for a St. John’s boudoir session. The impressive light, the harbour, the beautiful confident girl. It is all the things!
Caitlyn, thank you for choosing me as your Boudoir photographer. Photographing you was an absolute pleasure. Meghan and I had the hardest time narrowing down images from your session to share. You are smart and beautiful, and I wish you all the best as you embark on a new career!
Much Love,
Amy
