Graduation Photos with Gill in St. John’s, Newfoundland 

This is Gill, and she is absolutely wonderful! We first me several years ago when my daughter Bridget would come home from summer day camp and tell me 101 stories about Gill. As the summer drew to a close, there was no consoling Bridget – she ‘was never going to see Gill again”. Thankfully, this isn’t a big town, so we run into her quite a lot, and I am thrilled that even though she is a real life grown up now, she can occasionally be found in my living room so Jamie and I can go on date nights.

I am so proud of this gorgeous woman for finishing her studies in Business at College of the North Atlantic. I know where ever she goes or whatever she decides to do in this life, she will be incredible at it.

We started out the Graduation Photos session in Quidi Vidi. We clambered over the rocks and ‘beach’ to get to the breakwater, where I knew we would have incredible light. And even though the light WAS incredible, it was so windy that we needed to head back, lest we get no sensible photos with her cap and gown.

 To get away from the wind, we headed over to my favourite place in St. John’s for windy days! Somehow, magically, the wind is never quite as gusty near Government house, but the evening light is always incredible! This is were the Graduation Photos happened! 

 Gill, you are as lovely as you are ambitious and I can’t wait to see where this life takes you! I am sure you will make the most of everything it has to offer! Congratulations on your graduation!
