Do you remember that scene in the Titanic where Jack is busy drawing Rose while she is lounging seductively on the settee?
Yes? Of course you do.
Well, I remember that scene because it was beautiful and every single time I get to photograph Hannah, I think of that scene.
As much as I do not remember much else about that movie (aside from walking home from the Clarenville Twin Cinemas ugly crying my face off) that part stood out to me as beautiful. There is no way that 21 years ago, at the tender age of 16 I could have any idea that I would grow up to be a boudoir photographer, but clearly, on some level, it had to be inspiring, because, well, here I am, in love with life every time my very own Rose stands in front of my camera. I have long been inspired to do milk bath boudoir photos. They are just so pretty and feminine. So when we booked Hannah’s last session, we decided to do them! And now I am totally, totally in love with milk bath boudoir! Before we actually made the bath a milk bath, we did some shots of Hannah enjoying some bubbly in the bathtub!
After shooting 4 other amazing boudoir session that day, I will admit, I was incredibly envious! The best message I have received in ages was the one that she sent me from the mall. I tell all my clients to bring things they feel good in. Even though the initial plan was for us to do a Milk Bath Boudoir Session, on a whim, Hannah had tried on this body suit at La Vie en Rose and fell in love. She told me it makes her feel the most beautiful she has felt since she spent several months in Italy last year. I think everyone needs one of these body suits!
Hannah, thank you so much for always trusting me to photograph you- if ever I was going to have a real life muse, it is you. Thank you for being such a beautifully real person and I will never have enough thank yous to give you for being open to sharing your images of your milk bath boudoir. I am so happy that you ended up in Newfoundland and I am even more happy that you ended up in my life.!
Much Love,
Amy
