You for sure have seen Hannah before, if you follow me at all.
She is an incredibly vivacious beautiful soul, blessed with a face to match. To know her is to love her. And I am thankful for any time I get to spend time with her. If everyone on earth was like Hannah, this world would know happiness and joy. You really wish you knew her too.
I met her initially when she came to me for head shots for an application to go sing Opera in Italy. Yes, actual Opera. In, actual Italy. And, she totally got to go.
Since her return, she’s been growing her hair again (Italy was hot and there was an incident with some scissors on a particularly scorching day) and while that’s been happening, I have had the good fortune to photograph her many times. Headshots, Boudoir, and now, most recently, I got to see her on Convocation Day!
When I brainstorm with clients about where they would like to be photographed, the normal tourist hot spots always come up. And those are beautiful.
But things worked out that we ended up at Hannah’s adorable rental house. Literally, adorable. It’s like something from a movie. Nestled into downtown, it’s attached to a little old ladies house, set back in the garden on a tree lined street, and it looks like a movie character lives there. Like, maybe an Opera singer from Prince Edward Island who moved to an idyllic neighborhood in historic St. John’s to pursue her Masters in Music, and unwittingly charms everyone she meets.
Look, now, no one steal my idea. I’ve been looking for a book idea to turn into a screenplay.
Ginnifer Goodwin, are you available to play Hannah? Girl, can you sing??
On this particular day, I got to meet Hannah’s Mom who was in town for the convocation. You guys, her Mom. She is absolutely stunning. And so incredibly nice. It is makes absolute sense that she raised such an incredible daughter.
Now, as happy as I am for my new friend that she is done something big and is going on to do bigger things, I am sad that she will be off of my Island and back on her own. I am just grateful that my job and hers allowed us to meet! I am sure when she is world famous, I will make it happen to photograph her again, if not in between now and then!
So Much Love,
Amy
